- WINSTON CHURCHILL: Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. He opposed Chamberlain’s decision to sign the Munich Agreement with Hitler in 1938.

- DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER: Dwight D. Eisenhower was the 34th President of the United States from 1953 until 1961. He was a five-star general in the United States Army during World War II and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe; he had responsibility for planning and supervising the invasion of North Africa in Operation Torch in 1942–43 and the successful invasion of France and Germany in 1944–45 from the Western Front. In 1951, he became the first supreme commander of NATO.

- CHIANG KAI-SHEK: Chiang Kai-shek was a Chinese political and military leader who served as the leader of the Republic of China between 1928 and 1975.
- HARRY TRUMAN: Harry S. Truman was the 33rd President of the United States of America. The final running mate of President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1944, Truman took over on April 12, 1945, when Roosevelt died after months of declining health.

- AXIS POWERS: The Axis powers were the nations that fought in the Second World War against the Allied forces. The Axis powers were united by their opposition to the Western world and the Soviet Union.
- BATTLE OF BRITAIN: The Battle of Britain is the name given to the Second World War air campaign waged by the German Air Force against the United Kingdom during the summer and autumn of 1940.
- BATTLE OF IWO JIMA: The Battle of Iwo Jima was a major battle in which the United States Armed Forces fought for and captured the island of Iwo Jima from the Japanese Empire.
- BATTLE OF MIDWAY: The Battle of Midway, only six months after Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor, and one month after the Battle of the Coral Sea, the United States Navy decisively defeated an attack by the Imperial Japanese Navy, inflicting irreparable damage on the Japanese fleet.
- BATTLE OF STALINGRAD: The Battle of Stalingrad was when Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union for control of the city Stalingrad. Many Germans died due to the harsh weather conditions.
- D-DAY: The Normandy landings, were the landing operations of the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War II. It was the first of a series of battles that ultimately led to the victory of the Allied forces in 1945.

- LEBENSRAUM: Lebensraum was an important component of Nazi ideology in Germany. It meant “leaving space,” it was Hitler's ideology that he needed to expand Eastward to provide such living space to German people.
